What these criteria compare
This comparison assumes you use Framer, Webflow or WordPress.org without a dedicated provider. Eljadi WORKS includes website creation and an initial support period, followed by optional maintenance. An additional provider or managed WordPress hosting changes your workload and budget.
Editorial scale for technical work covered: 1 = work to arrange; 2 = tools and partial automation to configure and maintain; 3 = built-in features with site settings to configure; 4 = work handled by the platform or provider within the stated scope. Speed, Google rankings and security require site-specific checks. Express freelance offers remain unrated because their scope varies.
- Choice of host for the complete site
- Hosting choice applies to the complete site. Framer requires its own hosting. Webflow allows static export with a paid Workspace plan; the CMS, search and forms need replacements. WordPress.org can move to a compatible host. With Eljadi WORKS, I hand over the code and access details after payment, for hosting with a compatible provider of your choice.
- Technical SEO setup
- Framer and Webflow (3/4) provide the main SEO settings for you to complete. WordPress.org (2/4) can group these settings in a plugin such as Yoast, which needs configuration and upkeep. With Eljadi WORKS (4/4), I prepare metadata, the sitemap, indexing and appropriate structured data.
- Speed optimisation
- Framer and Webflow (3/4) handle hosting and some optimisations; added media, animations and scripts still need attention. WordPress.org (2/4) requires choosing and configuring the theme, plugins, cache and hosting. With Eljadi WORKS (4/4), I optimise the site and check its performance against a PageSpeed target of 90 or more. Results depend on content, third-party services and test conditions.
- Security and updates
- Framer and Webflow (4/4) provide HTTPS and maintain their hosted platform. WordPress.org (2/4) automates some updates; you arrange theme and plugin updates, backups and monitoring. With Eljadi WORKS (4/4), I handle HTTPS, updates, backups and alerts for the 3 free months, then through optional maintenance. When support ends, you or your new provider take over this upkeep. Accounts, access and third-party services retain their own settings.
- Edit your content yourself
- Framer, Webflow and WordPress provide an editor. A content editor for a custom-coded website is an option to scope in the quote. For an express offer, it depends on the delivered solution.
- A contact for your project
- You work with your freelancer or directly with me at Eljadi WORKS. Platforms provide product support; hiring someone to build your website is a separate service.
- Copy written for you
- I write the copy from the information you provide. When using an editor on its own, you arrange the copywriting. An express freelance quote specifies what is included.
- 3 months of free support
- Eljadi WORKS includes 3 months of free maintenance and support after launch. For a freelancer, the duration depends on the contract. Platforms provide product support; personal support for your website is a separate service.
A freelance platform can suit a specific task and a limited budget. Compare previous work, the delivered scope, source-code rights and the follow-up offered.
WordPress means the self-hosted version. Webflow export requires a paid Workspace; CMS and forms must be rebuilt elsewhere. Features and costs depend on the chosen plan.
The domain, hosting and connected services remain subject to their own terms.
